BMW E46 Tailshaft Coupling (Guibo) – Automatic

Restore smooth power delivery and eliminate unwanted drivetrain vibrations with a replacement tailshaft coupling (Guibo) for your BMW E46 automatic. The Guibo is a flexible rubber coupling that connects the transmission output flange to the tailshaft, absorbing drivetrain shock and reducing vibration during acceleration and gear changes.Over time, the rubber can deteriorate, crack or split, resulting in clunking noises, excessive drivetrain movement and vibrations.

Key Features:

Suitable for BMW E46 automatic transmission models (subject to fitment)
Helps absorb drivetrain shock and vibration
Reduces clunking during acceleration and gear changes
Restores smooth power transfer from the transmission to the tailshaft
Direct replacement for a worn or damaged coupling

Common Signs of a Worn Guibo:

Clunking when shifting between Drive and Reverse
Vibrations under acceleration
Knocking noises from underneath the vehicle
Visible cracks or deterioration in the rubber coupling

Fitment: BMW 3 Series E46 – Automatic Transmission (verify compatibility by model and VIN).

Quantity: Sold individually (1 coupling).

Garage46 Recommendation: When replacing the Guibo, we recommend inspecting the tailshaft centre support bearing, transmission mounts and differential bushes for wear to ensure optimal drivetrain performance.
